Cyberport CASP — Accelerator Support Programme
Cyberport funds its own incubatees / graduates to join accelerator programmes in HK, the mainland and overseas: up to HK$300K towards accelerator fees, office rent, interns, travel, marketing and professional services. The bar: a Cyberport incubatee / graduate already admitted to a programme on Cyberport's list of recognised accelerators. Two joint accelerators also run: CR-Cyberport (up to HK$1.8M in funding + in-kind) and Cyberport × Draper Dragon (CDD-JAP, Web3 / AI, 3 months).
You're a Cyberport incubatee / graduate, already admitted to an accelerator on Cyberport's recognised list, and want the participation fees and related costs reimbursed.
You're not a Cyberport incubatee / graduate, or not admitted to a recognised accelerator; for funding + space incubation see CIP.
- Deadline / window
- You must first be admitted to a recognised accelerator; apply upon admission (the joint accelerators have their own intake windows, e.g. CDD-JAP 2025-12-22 to 2026-01-15)
- Company age
- A company currently in, or graduated from, the Cyberport Incubation Programme
- For whom
- Admitted to a programme on Cyberport's recognised-accelerator list (updated 2025-04)
- Proof of admission to a recognised accelerator
- Official Guide to Applicants ECO.RF.020 (English only)
What it covers
First get admitted to an accelerator on Cyberport's recognised list, then claim up to HK$300K towards: accelerator programme fees, office rent, hiring interns, travel, marketing, and professional-service fees. The recognised list (updated 2025-04) covers dozens of local and overseas accelerators including 500 Startups, Antler, Brinc, Entrepreneur First, HAX, Founder Institute, DBS StartupXchange and the GBA youth incubator.
Two Cyberport joint accelerators (separate intake)
Beyond reimbursing recognised-accelerator fees, Cyberport runs two of its own joint accelerators with separate intakes:
- 1
First be a Cyberport incubatee / graduate
CASP is only open to Cyberport incubatees / graduates; outsiders can't use it.
Pitfall: Go through CCMF → CIP first before CASP is even on the table.
- 2
Apply to and get admitted by a recognised accelerator
Pick an accelerator from Cyberport's recognised list (updated 2025-04), apply, and get admitted.
Pitfall: Choose an accelerator off the list and the fees won't be reimbursed.
- 3
Claim CASP with the admission
With proof of admission, claim up to HK$300K covering fees / rent / interns / travel / marketing / professional services.
Pitfall: If you go via the CR or CDD-JAP joint accelerator, follow their own intake and terms — don't conflate them with CASP reimbursement.
- 01Cyberport incubatee / graduate wanting an accelerator → pick one from the recognised list, then use CASP after admission.
- 02In Web3 / AI → watch CDD-JAP intake (3 months, VC-backed, investor alliance).
- 03Want market expansion, not an accelerator → see MDSS (up to HK$200K, reimbursing exhibitions / landing / marketing).
CASP data verified against Cyberport's official programme page (the user downloaded it in a real browser in 2026-07, archived under docs/cyberport/, bypassing the Cloudflare 403). The recognised-accelerator list was updated 2025-04; the joint-accelerator intakes (CDD-JAP 2025-12-22 to 2026-01-15) rotate — follow the official page. Guide ECO.RF.020.
